Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Returned Missionary, I'm a College Graduate, I'm Married to the Love of my Life, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

Hi, the name's Andrew, I just recently graduated from College with degrees in Accounting and Finance. I served an LDS mission in Tacoma, Washington. I recently married the love of my life (best decision in the whole world). I am currently working on a Master's Degree and am loving it. I love sports, especially Basketball, Soccer, and Golf. I love to help people, spend time with my family, and try new things. I love answering questions and talking to people in general. I've been a member of the church my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God has told me directly that this is the true church. I have felt more peace, more joy, more love than anywhere else when I'm on my knees asking my Heavenly Father if this is where He would have me be. I prayed about it, he answered (see James 1:5). I know that living the gospel standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will bring more happiness and joy than any other way of life. More happiness, peace, and purpose are found here than anywhere else, and I know that without a shadow of a doubt. I can promise you, too, that if you sincerely ask your Father in Heaven if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true he will provide you an answer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to all that are around me of love and joy. I try to smile as often as I can and to say hello to anyone and everyone, hoping that a smile will brighten their day. I love to help others understand more about themselves and why they're here on this Earth (whether that's talking about our purpose or reminding people of their divine nature).

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Andrew
We believe that the purpose of life is to learn and to grow. Life is all about progression, learning from our mistakes and short-comings and overcoming them to become better. We are all learning how to be happy, to be the best that we can be. That's why we're here, to learn how to become better. We gain experience through everything we do in life. The reason why we do anything in life is to help us progress to the final reward: Eternal Life. That is the ultimate goal, Eternal Life, which is living with God and our families forever and being like Him. Show more Show less
