Hi I'm Dallin

I like reading, music, and computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Arizona that was predominantly Mormon. I love reading fantasy and sci-fi books. I play piano and sing. I love being with others, but usually need a little push to do it. I'm studying computer science at college and learning to live my beliefs on my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but as I got older I realized there was something special and very real about my faith. I was able to receive the peace and help promised by prayer. When I follow the teachings of the prophets my life is satisfying. Now, as I'm living on my own at school, I know that the Lord provides for me and protects me. I often find myself caught up in the hectic life of a student, and only when I take time for Christ by reading the scriptures or other inspired publications do I feel peace.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the chorister in my local ward. Every Sunday I lead the congregation in singing the hymns. I use the Church's Indexing system to bring the blessings of geneology and temple ordinances to the world.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Dallin
Baptism into the church is an ordinance in which new members make promises, or covenants, with God to obey His commandments and be a witness of Christ. Making the promises of baptism allows God to bless us with the wonderful blessing called the Gift of the Holy Ghost, which guides us throughout our lives as we live worthy of it. Show more Show less
