Hi I'm Keith

I am a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, a Husband and Father of four, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of four, the oldest being seven years old. I work as a software quality assurance engineer to provide for my little family and I am going to school full-time to enable me to take care of them better. I enjoy sports, reading mainly sci-fi and fantasy, writing I want to be an author some day, playing around with computers, and an ocassional computer game. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with dogs though we have none, alas!, serving in the Church, and could be considered by some to be a nerd.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in Utah by my parents who were both Mormon. They strove to live their religion and raise a family the best the knew how. So I grew up learning what it means to be a Mormon. While I lived the religion somewhat, more to please my parents, it did not really hit me till I was about 18 years old. Around 19 years old most Mormon boys go on missions for two years, paying for it out of their pocket, and teaching others about Christ and what we believe. Around this time I decided that I needed to know if I really believed in this or not. So I went about studying, thinking, and praying to know if it was all true. I learned for myself, through personal revelation that it is true. That is why I do what I do and live the way I live because I know it to be true and that it is what the Lord would have me do. I know that God answers prayers, and that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect, but I strive to keep the commandments and do as the Lord would have me do. I strive to show what I believe by how I live - at work, home, school, church, and at play. I teach gospel doctrine to the adult class at our local church. I have a few families that I strive to keep up with and help out where I can. I try to listen to the Spirit and help where I am needed. I strive to be kind and loving. My wife and I strive to teach our children the gospel and to love each other and not fight. I continue to study the gospel, pray, and try to learn more from the Lord. I work to be the best person that I be so that I can be of service to the Lord.
