Hi I'm Forrest Clark

I'm married, have a son named Jack, and I am a Political Science student at BYU. I was raised in Sanford, North Carolina.

About Me

I was raised in North Carolina by two great LDS parents. I'm currently a college student at BYU. I'm a Political Science Major, and I will be graduating April of 2013 along with my wife, sister, and mother. I hope to go to law school after graduation. I have an adorable little boy that keeps me very busy. I enjoy good stories, whether in books, television shows, or movies. I am a soccer fan and a Duke fan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Spirit of God has confirmed to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church on the Earth today that Christ has established himself as his. He leads it through a modern day prophet as he has done throughout history. I seek the fullness of truth that I believe is found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live a Christlike life. I try to serve others and become the kind of person that Heavenly Father would allow to live in his presence forever. I help when people need help, and I try to live my faith at all times

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Forrest Clark
Mormons are asked to live the Law of Tithing. This means we are asked to donate 10% of our income to God. With it the church and build churches, maintain them, and maintain church operations. Another purpose is to test the faith of the members, and as the members respond in faith they are blessed with better, happier lives. As Malachi 3:10 says, "prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Tithing is a sacrifice that helps God help us. Show more Show less
