Hi I'm Greg

I grew up in the Mountains of Tennessee. I served 5 years in the Air Force. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the state of North Dakota with my wife and three kids. I work for John Deere as a service technician. I served my country in the Air Force for 5 years and 3 months, stationed In Minot, ND. I love to spend time with my family, working in the yard, playing basketball and volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church and was baptized at the age of eight. It wasn't until I met my wife and had children that I realized there had to be more to life. I finally understood the Church brings happiness, understanding and the chance for families to be together forever. I love my God and my Savior and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to do as Jesus would do and follow his examples. I enjoy helping others and doing what is right. I love my family and try to do all that I can to make them happy. I study, pray, and try to set a good example to those around me. I hold three callings and try to do my best at fullfilling those callings. I cannot do all things by myself and come up short on many things, so I rely on the Savior to help me.

What is being a Mormon like?

I tend to hear others say "you can't do things because you are a Mormon." I have found that the Church is not full of you cannot's, but it is full of you can's. It brings me joy to say that I can go with out drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and porn. I can stay away from places that would jeopardize my family, marriage, and eternal life. I enjoy the ability to live my life differently from the rest of the world and find true happiness. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

We believe in the Bible because it is the record of Gods dealing with his people from the beginning. It contains the ministry of Christ and the record of his atonement, made for all mankind, which only he could have done. It gives the mission of the twelve Apostles and the struggles they faced while spreading the gospel of Christ. Thank God for these sacred writings. Show more Show less
