Hi I'm Brandon

I'm 22 years old, I'm from Logan, Utah, I'm a drummer, a student, a newly-wed, I work 2 jobs, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I got married in July of 2013, so I know about being a newly-wed. I was a missionary in Taiwan for 2 years. I go to Utah State University full time while working a part-time job on campus, and working at a grocery store more than 30 hours a week on top of that. I am studying Global Communications and Mandarin Chinese. I LOVE music! I have played the drums for 10 years. When I'm not in class or sleeping, I'm listening to music. I enjoy learning life sciences like astronomy and biology, and social sciences like psychology, and communication. There are so many things to learn in this world! It is amazing!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the Church when I was born. I had my rebellious stage where I didn't go to church. But when I began my LDS mission, I read the Book of Mormon for the first time, prayed about whether it was true or not, and then I felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith truly did restore the true Church of Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are always preparing ourselves to one day have children. We both work, and we try to save up money so that we can provide a good life for our family. Part of the reason that I want to keep learning Chinese is so that one day I can go back to Taiwan, or go to China, and be a missionary again. I love the Chinese people, their culture, and their history so much that I want to go back and help them feel the love of the Savior. There are so many good people over there that need to know of this wonderful gospel that I have, and I want to share it with them all! Since I got home from my mission, I have tried to be an example of the believers to everyone that I meet. I am excited about the small things in life. There are so many things to be happy about, and I thank the Lord every day for the things that He has given me. There are so many things to be grateful for!
