Hi I'm Charles

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in my late 20's.

About Me

I like to canoe and ride bikes with my kids. I also like to play soccer and fish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught by Missionaries of this church who were called of God. I studied and prayed. The Holy Ghost revealed to me that the teaching were true. What else could I do?

How I live my faith

Living my faith is about making correct decisions. In order to make decisions that align with my faith I must often do what is contrary to my natural desires and impulses. In our church we work together to help teach and encourage each other to make decisions in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Church members are free to support any political party or candidate we want. We are also free to express our political views to our friends, family, other church members, etc. We should not be expressing our political views in officially sanctioned church meetings and activities. At church you can occasionally hear members promoting their political views and making comparisons between our churches values and the values of their preferred particular political party. This behavior is usually ignored by the other members because our church discourages contentious arguments at our meetings. Be assured that anyone promoting their political views or party at church is acting in direct opposition to guidance given by the leadership of our church. Show more Show less
