Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a student at the University of Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm really involved with school, I am majoring in Exercise Sport Science and minoring in Nutrition, while working on pre-requisites for Medical School. I love being active and staying busy. I work part time at Huntsman Cancer Hospital and I love it! I enjoy watching movies and television shows. Family and friends are a big part of my life and I love hanging out with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a Mormon, so when I think of the reason, why I am a Mormon, a couple of things cross my mind. Its what I've always been taught and what I've always lived by, but more importantly it is what I sincerely believe in. Going through life's struggles and challenges there has always been one gospel to turn towards for answers and solutions, and the having the knowledge that I'm living the true gospel, the same one that Jesus Christ taught when he was here, makes those struggles and challenges all part of the learning experience.

How I live my faith

Living my faith isn't always easy, but it is always right and knowing that makes all the difference. As I follow the commandments our Heavenly Father has given us I can feel the spirit with me, and the company of the spirit makes all the difference in the world. Knowing that I can have the spirit with me protecting me and helping me make good choices is motivation enough to live in such a way that he will never leave me.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Jordan
I think this is one of the most beautiful teachings. When Mormons think of God, they picture a loving Father in Heaven. We, as His children, know that he cares for us, loves us, and wants the best for us. Very much like an earthly father, he guides us with rules to keep us protected and safe. No matter what choices we make our Father in Heaven will always love us and wish the best for us. Show more Show less
