Hi I'm Richard

I'm a Mormon. I'm a convert. I joined the church. You can too. I can't imagine my life without the Gospel.

About Me

I'm a grateful husband and the father of two children. I've been blessed with a wonderful life to spite its many challenges. I work for a company that sells and finances computer equipment. I spend most of my time with my wife Leslie and our children Melissa and Brooks. We enjoy going to the beach, watching movies together, traveling and doing all kinds of sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it is the church I know to be true. It's really that simple. The gospel in all of its fullness keeps me close to the Savior.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve our church as a Home Teacher and as the Ward Mission Leader. These are responsibilities that I'm grateful for and truly do enjoy. As a Home Teacher I have five families that I'm assigned to care for and visit each month. I have truly come to love and appreciate the people the Lord has put in my life. In my service as the Ward Mission Leader I work with the members of our congregation and the full-time Missionaries. We reach out to our community and teach others about the gospel and invite them to become members of the church.

Are Mormons Christians?

Richard
I love this question and the answer is absolutely yes. Everything we do from Baptism onward has the sole purpose of worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. The practices of serving, scripture study, prayer, Sunday church attendance, etc all have one theme and one goal--to bring souls unto Christ. We are here to do what he would have us do and to become who he would have us be. Show more Show less
