Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a photographer with the US Air Force. I have three kids, 17, 11, and 9 years old. I'm currently working on a bachelors degree in mathematics. My goal is to retire from the military and teach middle school math. I am the only member of my immediate family that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was inactive for many years after my baptism. I started going back to church after I entered boot camp for the US Air Force.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Mormon church and was baptized when I was 9 years old by missionaries. I was sealed to my wife in the Idaho Falls temple. That was the single most important thing I have ever done. Knowing that my family will be together for eternity makes life so much better. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness and peace to my life. The simple truths printed in the scriptures are more than just words, they are inspiration and motivation to act as Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am the Cubmaster for our ward Cub Scout Pack. Every Tuesday my wife and I teach young boys skills needed to make them better citizens, responsible people, and examples to those around them. We find joy in knowing that the youth we teach today will be the leaders of tomorrow.
