Hi I'm Brett Novak

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Arizona. I enjoy helping others in need especially when they don't know they're in need.

About Me

I have been happily married for four good years now and am the father of two wonderful little ones, a girl (3yrs), and a boy (1yrs). I have spent much of my life learning skills, as I find it exciting; I play the piano, do carpentry, various outdoor activities, etc. I find most of my time well spent with my family, making myself less proficient in other skills than I used to be... But, one of my favorite motto's: "no regrets", obliges me to focus more on my kids now. I just finished college with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and I love my job. Of course, life has its problems that it likes to throw at you, but I have found an easy way to get through them, hence my purpose in placing my profile. I want to help others find what I have found, and be able to interact with those who might be curious. I know no one enjoys being pushed; that is why no one ever wants to discuss religion. I can discuss it easily in a non-bias way. The only person I have ever tried to PROVE The Church of Jesus Christ to be true to, was myself, and I did.

Why I am a Mormon

Okay, I know that this website is mostly for those who have recently joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but like to consider myself as new, only because I still feel new. I have been in this church my whole life, but I am always learning more, and my commitment to the gospel is constantly renewed. I am a "Mormon" because I have spent my lifetime seeking the truth about God, and religion in general. I have found not only answers here, but validity. I have found out for myself what God's plan is for me, and that Jesus Christ himself directs this church through a present day prophet. Most people think that you cannot know for sure if a church is true, but I will debate that, because I have found sure knowledge that it is. The key is to start with faith, prove and try a principle, and if the promised outcome yields, it is no longer a "theory", but a fact; because it happens without fail.

How I live my faith

This is sort of a hard question to answer, but I guess the way I live my faith, is through service to my family, and holding a calling in church, as everything done there is volunteer; no one gets paid. I often work with the young men, and also in music, playing for the congregation or choir. ...It's all about serving others.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Brett Novak
Absolutely.I believe that God is trying to lead us all again to a promised land figuratively and the only way to get there is to follow his prophet that he has called today. Like the people of Moses' day, as we follow the prophet, we WILL see the blessings from obeying, and know then that he is led by God we'll know his fruit is good. Show more Show less
