Hi I'm Andy

I know God lives and loves me

About Me

I live with my wife and 5 children in Sydney, Australia. We moved here 1 month ago from Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because that's where the Spirit guides me. I've spent years and tens of thousands of dollars seeking truth, and the Spirit always leads me back to the same basic truths: Heavenly Father lives and loves me; His Son Jesus Christ is my Savior, the path back Home is through faith, repentance, making covenants, and receiving more of His Spirit.

How I live my faith

I spent 2 years in France sharing my faith and serving the people of France. I learned to love them. Now I get to teach my children about the gospel and serve them. We are all learning how much God loves us and is active in our lives.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will ask about your beliefs, share their own, and answer any questions you might have. When I was a missionary, I would ask people what was important to them. Most would say that their family was the most important thing. Then I would ask if they wanted to know how their family could be together forever. That's the most important question that the Gospel answers for me. Show more Show less

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I feel that my role as a husband and father is to preside, provide, and protect. To preside means to put my family in the path of the Spirit. I can't force them to learn or love Light and Truth. All I can do is to create favorable conditions for them to feel the Light and to want more of it. I try to do this by praying together, holding family scripture study, and discussing often the Atonement of Jesus Christ. To provide means to take care of temporal needs. To protect means to keep them out of harm's way, be it physical, emotional, or spiritual. Show more Show less
