Hi I'm Hal Anderson

I am a Family man, an Investment Advisor by Profession. I consider myself a Patriot, I Love God and our Country, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am happily married to my wonderful wife, Julie and we are the parents of six beautiful children. We live in Southern Utah, but have lived in several parts of the country to include Michigan, New Jersey, and Arizona. I am a former Reserve Army Officer. I served a mission as a young man to Taipai Taiwan. I love the Chinese People. I love the outdoors, hiking, biking, skiing. I am most happy when I am with my family. I am very patriotic, I hope to qualify as a Patriot! The two most important causes in this mortal experience are first: The American Revolution that produced the Declaration of Independence and our US Consitution. The Lord God raised up righteous men to establish the standard of freedom and liberty that sets forth and protects the unalienable rights of all mankind. Second: The Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith in our dispensation of the fulness of times. The American Revolution is a miracle and a prologue to the coming forth of the Restoration of the Lord's Church and Kingdom here on the earth. For these two causes, I dedicate my time, talents, abilities, and work to defend and to share with all nations. For these two causes along with the protection of my family, I would defend with my Life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have discovered that by by living the Lord's commandments and striving to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ I am most happy and at peace. When I qualify for the Lord' Spirit to be with me, I am more kind, friendly, patient and understanding, I am filled with the Love of God and all people. When I am living as the Lord would have me, I am a better husband, father, businessman and citizen. I have asked my Heavenly Father in prayer in the name of His Son Jesus Christ if His gospel has been restored to the earth and He has answered my prayers. I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Lord's true and living Church on the earth today. The Lord's Church has been restored through the Propphet Joseph Smith and is lead today by a Living Prophet and Apostles that have Priesthood Authority to officiate in building the Lord's Kingdom here on the earth today. I know the Bible to be the word of God. I also belive the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God. In fact, the Book of Mormon testifies of the truthfulness of the Bible. Both of these books of scripture contain the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Prophet Jospeh Smith taught that The Book of Mormon is the most correct book of the earth and that a man will get closer to God by abiding by its precepts than any other book. The Book of Mormon is the only book that I know of that contains a promise from the Lord that if one reads the book sincerely and asks God the Eternal Father in the name of Christ if the book is true, that Heavenly Father will manifest the truth to you by the power of the Holy Ghost. I have applied this promise and have felt the undeniable witness of the Holy Ghost in my mind and heart that the Book of Mormon is true, that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, that we have a loving Heavenly Father that loves us and has called a prophet in our day and time to restore His gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to not only profess my faith but live it. I strive to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and live as a true disciple of Jesus Christ. I find that when I start my day with personal and family prayer and scripture study that I have the Holy Ghost with me to inspire and guide me through my day. With the Holy Ghost, I find that I am more kind, generous, patient, pleasant, and willing to serve others. When I am living my faith I am a better husband and father, businessman, member of the community and citizen of this great nation. Our family is fully active in the worship services and activities of the Church. Each family member participates in service opportunities that serve to stretch and refine us as we serve our fellow man. One of my opportunities is to assist young men and young woman prepare for full-time misisonary service. This is a very challenging, but very fulfilling service opportunity. Over the past 5 years, we have assisted hundreds of young people for misisonary service that have been sent all of over world to every major continent and country. What a great blessing!
