Hi I'm Adam Lane

I'm from Arizona and I served my mission in Argentina. I'm studying to become a doctor, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love photography, especially landscape photography. I've been playing piano since I was 8 and I enjoy it a ton. I am a microbiology major and I am hoping to one day be a doctor because I love to help people. I served my mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life! My brother also served in Buenos Aires which was totally awesome. I love the fact that we can speak together in Rioplatense Spanish. I am the oldest of four children. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister and 2 wonderful parents. I'm just lovin' life =)

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members and I was baptized when I was 8, but I needed to know that it was true for myself. So when I was in high school I read the whole Book of Mormon for the first time desiring to know if it was God's word. I began to apply the principles it taught in my life. As I did so, a marvelous thing happened to me. I began to trust Heavenly Father. I began to feel His love for me more and more as I kept the commandments. I began to love Jesus Christ and recognize that He truly is my Savior. I stopped worrying so much about my problems, and I began to love those around me to a greater degree then I ever thought possible. These things brought joy into my life where emptiness and pointlessness existed before. During this transition, I asked Heavenly Father through prayer if the Book of Mormon was true, and He answered me by the power of the Holy Ghost. I then knew that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and that he was called to restore Christ's church upon the earth. I knew that Jesus Christ sacrificed everything for me and all mankind. I also knew that there was a a prophet on the earth who could lead and guide us so that we could know what to do to be happy. Today that prophet is Thomas S. Monson. This is the reason I choose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one choice at a time. I love to help people and I think this is what my faith is all about. I always try to reach out to others around me and help them understand how important they are to Heavenly Father, especially when somebody is having a particularly hard day. Another way I exercise my faith is by sharing my talent and playing organ on Sundays for church.
