Hi I'm Morian

I grew up in New Hampshire, I protect companies from hackers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've run the Boston Marathon and I love playing video games with my kids. I love to do all kinds of active things from motocross to dancing with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time in my life where I was doing nothing but what I wanted. My father kept loving me none the less and tried to show me a better way. I wasn't interested in any way but mine but I also knew that if there was a God, I wasn't going to live forever and it would probably be a wise move to figure out if He was real. I had heard of the promises of God before that as St. James put it, "if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God" I began my spiritual journey by reading the scriptures, fasting and praying for answers. I wasn't satisfied with taking someone's word for the existence of God, although a trusted source, such as my father, helped me feel like perhaps this wasn't going to be a waste of time. I struggled for many weeks trying to feel God's word, love, presence, etc... I found that I possessed a sense of interest in what I was doing but a feeling of frustration too, as I didn't feel like I had found God or that I knew anything more than when I had started until one late winter night. I had been praying very earnestly to know if God was real and if I could be accepted by Him, when rising from prayer I began to read in the Book of Mormon. I came to several verses in Mosiah 4 8-10. It was then that the Holy Ghost come over me and I heard each word of each of these verses in my soul accompanied by a holy presence and a love I had never felt from any person or thing in my life. The verses came alive and pure knowledge entered my soul. In a moment I saw clearly what God wanted me to do and how he wanted me to change my life. I felt so much love directed at me, which gave me peace and an overwhelming sense of gratitude to God for the time He had taken to open the windows of heaven to me, it changed my life. From that point on, I didn't need anyone to tell me that God lives, or that Jesus was my Savior, I had received it directly from heaven. I will be eternally grateful to God. I have had similar experiences from time to time in my life, each of which has helped me make corrections in my life and given me knowledge about the ways of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuing to learn and study the scriptures, open my mouth and share my knowledge and experiences with all that will hear in en effort to inspire someone to seek a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I also respect others agency and right to worship how they choose or choose not to. I try and lead an exemplary life style. I repent of my sins and I'm active in the church. I've been a youth minister, we call it a Young Men President, I've also presided over our congregation's quorum of Elders twice and now I'm a missionary with my wife in our city. I volunteer my time, talents and things the Lord has blessed me with to building up His kingdom. You know, since it is the real deal, if just makes sense and I'm glad He has allowed me to be a part of it.
