Hi I'm Carly Campos

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know the gospel is true without a single doubt.

About Me

I am 21 years old. I am married (have been for 2 years). I have one daughter. She is everything to me and I love being a stay-at-home Mom. I love spending time learning from my little girl and I love teaching her. I love spending time with my husband. I love to bake. I love the outdoors. I love camping and walking outside. I love to read. I love to live my life. It is challenging, but so much fun! And such a blessing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Growing up I loved the songs and being able to go to classes with the other kids my age. I remember the good feeling I got when I would be at church. It was a great place to be every Sunday. After I graduated high school I went to a university student ward. I loved being able to continue to go, and I loved that I could go with other graduates. It was a big change, because parent's of the graduates would stay at their own ward, but it was great change and it helped me grow. I met my husband there, and I also met some amazing friends who shared my beliefs. I know the gospel is true. I know that my Savior and my Heavenly Father live and love and know everything about me. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he restored the gospel to the earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the called prophet on the earth today. I know that what he says is true and comes from Heavenly Father. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true and through reading them I can know with a surety that the gospel is true. I know that through Jesus Christ I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again if I obey the commandments. I love the gospel. I love the spirit and I love how the gospel has influenced and influences my life everyday. It is true. I know it without a doubt.

How I live my faith

Bryan, my husband, and I just moved to a new area. We don't have callings in our ward yet, but we hope to very soon. In past wards I have mostly had musical callings. I played piano for 15 years so I felt very blessed and talented and grateful that I could share my talent with my ward. I was the pianist for the women's class, the choir accompanist, the ward pianist, and I would play for people if the wanted to sing for a special musical number. It was a great experience. It helped me continue to develop my talent, and it helped me share my music with others. I was also the youth girl's secretary. It was great. I loved working with the girls. Their spirits are so strong. They built up my beliefs and my testimony and they helped my spirit grow so much.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Carly Campos
President Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. He was called of God and acts as a messenger for God. I know that he is the prophet and that what he says is true and comes from God. Show more Show less
