Hi I'm Colby Young

I served a mission in Norway. Now I'm a bicycle mechanic and going to school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to do extreme sports like skateboarding, mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and stuff like that. I am the oldest of four kids in my family, and we just love being together. I have a younger sister, and two younger brothers, one of which is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormon church). I love to participate in the community, and get involved in any social event possible. I am just graduated college, with a major in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and loving life, every minute of it. I like to learn about everything and apply what I learn. I love to meet new people and find out what we have in common. I'm glad to be a Mormon, and I feel very blessed by my Heavenly Father to be able to do the things I can do in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was raised in the church, and while I have grown up with the church around me, I have found out, for my self that what the church teaches is true and I follow its teachings to find ultimate, everlasting happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I actively work with other young single adults in my local congregation, by participating in weekly activities, visiting members, and encouraging my friends to come visit us. I actively serve amongst my peers in developing a positive environment that invites the Holy Spirit to dwell. Serving others in need, especially in a time of crisis or concern also ranks very highly on my thing to do.
