Hi I'm Johnson

I'm from Vegas. I love the Cougars. I'm a red-head. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Johnson. I was born in Provo, Utah but lived almost my entire life in the fabulous city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Thanks to my parents, friends, and the Church it was never too hard growing up in "Sin City." I love lacrosse, music, and the Chinese language. I took a little Chinese in high school which prepared me well to serve in the Singapore Mission, where the main language I spoke was Mandarin Chinese. I'm a student at BYU in Provo, Utah still deciding what on earth to do with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church to some dang awesome parents. However just being born into something doesn't necessarily mean that you believe it, and that's what happened with me. My testimony of the Church grew slowly over years and years with a good amount of help from others around me. Including friends, leaders, and family members. And now I've got a firm belief in the doctrines and principles of the Restored Gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by serving a full time, proselyting mission for the Church in Singapore and Malaysia. Previously I also served in assisting our local ward in it's various groups for young men, and as a group leader for Young Single Adults in my local ward at Brigham Young University.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Johnson
A testimony is basically a belief in spiritual things. When a Mormon professes to have a testimony it's usually based on a witness given by the Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit, and pertaining to Jesus Christ, the Restoration of the Church through Joseph Smith, or any other of the many doctrinal teachings of the Church.
