Hi I'm Charlee Té Allen

I'm a college student driven by setting goals. My eyes are on the future. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Charlee. I am not really any more spectacular than the next person, but I love being me. I love Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and my family. I am very competitive and I love driving manual tranmission. I love setting and accomplishing goals (though I tend to set goals more than I accomplish them.) I don't feel pressure from my peers and I don't think celebrities are more than human. I have a strong belief that every person can be beautiful. I believe that the only time we become unattractive is when we allow ourselves to lose our hygiene and self-respect. This gospel is true. I know that. I love that. I am a daughter of God and I know he loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had too many miracles in my life to be comfortable denying an existing God. I have lived my life according to the principles and standards that the LDS church sets and I have recieved the promised blessings that come from following this way of life. I find that keeping the Savior close to me through prayer, scripture study, and righteous living have made me the indpendent, strong, and happy person I am today. I have prayed asking if this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is the only church to offer the full and everlasting truth, and the answered I recieved is: YES! This gospel has provided me with a perspective that every individual is important in the eyes of God, and should therefore be important in mine. I am a Mormon, because this church has made me happy and has consistently held true to the promises God has made.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remembering that those around me are children of God. Just as my Mother and Father want their children to be treated kindly and with love, so does Heavenly Father want me to have charity for everyone around me. Sadly, I am not perfect and I often make mistakes. The greatest part of living my faith is knowing that I have the ability to fix these mistakes and strengthen my weaknesses by coming unto Christ. Right now I am serving with the women's organization. I get to organize Sunday meetings. I also organize groups that the women participate in. I have the honor to get to know these amazing ladies and the unique talents that all of them have.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Charlee Té Allen
The restoration was not just about bringing forth the Book of Mormon. The restoration was needed to bring God's power and authority back to the Earth. After Christ and his apostles were all martyred, the priesthood was no longer on the Earth. With Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon was not only translated, but the priesthood was restored as well. We did not just need the Book of Mormon, we needed the power and authority to live Christ's word. Show more Show less

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Charlee Té Allen
The Mormon church fervently supports activity in the community, state, and nation. The church does not endorse any specific party, but does endorse specific issues that uphold family and religious values. Political participation not only allows an individual to strengthen the community around them, but also provides an opportunity to protect and defend the nations and governments that God has given us the opportunity to live in. Party affiliation is an individual choice that should be decided after personal study of the issues and topics. Show more Show less
