Hi I'm Rob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to Trish, and we have two young boys who mean the world to us. I am a microbiologist and work has taken us all over the United States. We have become friends with so many terrific people. We currently live in New Jersey where I work for Stryker Orthopaedics. I love music (drums, guitar, keyboards), movies, writing, and being outdoors. I absolutely love to spend time with my family. My church calling is working with the young men of our congregation. I help teach them the gospel on Sundays, and Scouting on Wednesday evenings. Teaching others is very satisfying and helps me to grow as a person.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me the gospel from a very young age. In my family we grew up with family prayer twice a day and regular scripture study. We had Family Home Evening every week. This is a church program designed to keep the family together through gospel study and fun activities. When I was very young I had a number of experiences and answers to prayers that confirmed to me that God lives, loves us, and has a plan for each of His children.

How I live my faith

I enjoy meeting with my friends and neighbors each week at the Sunday meetings, and throughout the week. The Church emphasizes worship in the home, with personal and family prayer, scripture study, and teaching in addition to formal Church-led activities.
