Hi I'm Matthew Judd

I grew up in Payson, Ut. I lived in Virgina. I love meeting people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer and to find out alot about the church through reading the Book of Morom. I love to hang out with my friends and family. I served a mission in Argentina. I am pursuing a business degree at Weber State University. I love my family and friends. I love to have fun and do new things. But most of all I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and all that they have done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon party because of my past generations, but it is more because of the experiences i have had in my life and the blessings that have come from my actions being a mormon. I am also a mormon because I have found out for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints is the place for me to be and that is the main reason that I am continuing in the faith to this day.

How I live my faith

I love my faith cause it has brought me closer to my family and it has also helped me make new friends and good friends. I have also received many blessings from this faith. I live it by reading my scriptures and praying. I also live my faith through how I act and interact with people. I try to treat everyone the way that I would want to be treated and how Jesus Christ would treat them.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Matthew Judd
The authority to perform a baptism is important, because with out the authority from Christ to perform baptisms then the baptism is not truly valid in Christs eyes. It has to happen that way cause there is an order for everything and if the order is not follow than it is not valid in his eyes. Christ set the example and paved the way on how to perform certain important parts of his gospel and that is how they need to be performed to day. Also if they do not have authority to perform the ordinance at hand than they are degrading Christs holiness and righteousness, they may not mean to do this but that is what happens cause they are taking the sacredness of the ordinance out of it and doing it in the way that they want not the way that they Lord wants and has set forth for us to follow.
