Hi I'm Dallin Breshears

I'm from a small town in Idaho. I'm a student at BYU. love to hunt, make people laugh, and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student of Political Science, and I love to participate in the political arena. I am from a small farming town and I love to be outside working on the farm or hunting. I love to sing and perform. The best era of music is classic rock. One of my favorite things to do is make people laugh. I have suffered knee problems since an early age, and was discouraged from participating in sports, but I love to watch football, basketball, and baseball. I love my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because of my strong faith that death does not separate a family. I have an older brother who passed away a month before I was born. I have the faith that he continues to live and that one day in the future we will be reunited. I know that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world and it is through him that we find solace from our heartaches and sorrows. I have many instances in which someone's life has been turned around for the better as they accepted the light of the living gospel of Christ. The Book of Mormon has changed my life and makes me strive to live a better life. I know that it is scripture given to us by God, our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to reach out to those in need. I volunteer whenever I can with a neighbor of a different faith to assist those in the local homeless shelter. I try to be a friend to those who don't have many social experiences. I love to smile because a smile is contagious. Within my church I am a member of a presidency that is in charge of strengthening the men of the church. We meet together weekly and discuss how we can be better fathers, brothers, men, neighbors, etc. We also organize monthly visits to all the members of the church in our area to strengthen and inspire them.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Dallin Breshears
The Church of Jesus Christ is completely neutral when it comes to candidates and political parties. They feel that worthwhile ideas can be found in many political parties. The Church encourages its members to study the issues carefully and engage often in political activity. Your position in the church is not determined on your political opinions. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Dallin Breshears
Absolutely! We believe that this time on Earth is only a small and brief journey. If we are faithful to our families and the promises that we have made to God, we can live together forever. What a blessing it is to know that death does not separate us! Show more Show less
