Hi I'm Lindsay

I'm a humanitarian. I love medicine, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lindsay. I am a daughter of great parents and have three great siblings. I'm 21 years old, and I love people. There is NOTHING that brings me more joy than putting a smile on the faces of those around me. Anyone, anywhere. I love learning about new cultures and people worldwide. I've had the incredible opportunity to serve in Guatemala 3 times for various humanitarian aid projects and have come to love the people as family. There are many friends and loved ones I have yet to meet worldwide, and I will spend my whole life trying to reach them. :) I completed my Bachelors in Emergency Medicine including the Paramedic Program. I'd love to eventually go on to a Physician's Assistant program, focusing on family medicine or pediatrics worldwide.I have a passion for medicine, and love using my abilities to help those who aren't able to help themselves. My greatest joy is leaving people better than you found them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it's true. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't. The Mormon church isn't just a humanitarian organization or like many other churches encouraging you to live better lives. It's roots are true. I love service, and there are many good things in the world if you seek them, but there are few things in the world you can always depend on. This church and it's teachings are the anchor to my soul. I CAN ALWAYS depend on THIS truth. Heavenly Father LIVES. He Loves ME. He loves YOU. Life didn't begin at birth nor will it end with death. If it did what is the purpose for living in the first place? God lives. You were with Him once before. This life is a test. A time to use our gift of Agency, or to choose. What we want to do, and become. Whether we want to live worthy of the blessings to come or walk away from his love. He loved us so much he gave us that agency. He doesn't wish to control us. Life is our choice. And if we endure it well, we WILL live with him again. We will become like him. We will be with our family and friends forever. I don't say this as a dream or hope. I KNOW it, without a shadow of a doubt. I know it. You feel good reading this right now because He is trying to let you feel the same. He never leaves us. We leave him. Please, come to Him.

How I live my faith

I am a current full time Missionary or representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. I made the decision to serve a mission to share the joy and many blessings I've recieved with others. To share why I'm so happy, what I know. I left home in June to spend the next 18 months learning spanish and sharing what I know with others in the world.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Lindsay
No. It wasn't required of me. It's something I chose to do. I chose to serve a mission because I've seen how this truth has changed my life and I want more than anything to help those around me find that same joy! I can feed mouths worldwide, give health and donations. But the truest and ONLY way someone can truly be helped is to mend a broken heart. I am here to mend hearts through sharing the source, my source, our Savior. Show more Show less
