Hi I'm Nate

I'm a student. I'm and athlete. I'm a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nate and I was born and raised in Utah. I was raised a Mormon and served a 2 year mission to the state of Michigan, where I had the opportunity of sharing my beliefs with others. I am studying to become a high school biology teacher. I'm a big sports enthusiast. Whether it's watching or playing, I love the thrill and excitement of competition. When I'm not studying or playing sports, I can often be found in the kitchen baking a dessert for family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up as a Mormon, I have had to make the decision to keep my faith. I look at all of the chaos in the world and find comfort that I know that God has a plan for me. I have been able to find peace in my life because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and as I continue to study from the scriptures and pray to our Heavenly Father, my conviction of these things continues to grow. I know that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way that I can find continual happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a variety of ways. I try to live a life that Jesus Christ would live. I know that I make a lot of mistakes, but he is my example. Within the church we are asked to serve. I try to take these responsibilities seriously do my best to serve those around me. At least once a month, I visit other young adults in my ward. I make sure that they are doing well physically and spiritually, and leave a message relating to Christ and a prayer before I leave. It gives me a chance to show them that I love them, and helps everyone to grow together. I also try to help people around me. I try to help others when they're having a hard day and hope that I can help lift them up a little bit.
