Hi I'm Mike Snyder

I grew up in Meeteetse, Wyoming. I'm married, have 3 children and 8 grandchildren, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 57 years old, have been married to my best friend and wife for 36+ years, we have three wonderful children and 8 going on 10 grandchildren. I am a machinist. I was raised on a ranch. My mother was a Mormon and my dad wasn't. I went on a mission for the Church to Southern California. I love golfing , spending time with family and friends, and ride a Goldwing motorcycle whenever I can and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Part of the reason I'm a Mormon is that my mother was a member and I was raised in the Church. But as I grew older I appreciated the doctrines, morals, willingness to serve others and the teachings about the importance of families in the Church. There is a peace in my life because I know what my purpose is in being here. My foundational belief in Jesus Christ as my Savior helps me endure challenges that come and gives me a positive perspective on life. I love knowing that my family will be together forever.

How I live my faith

I try to be patient and kind to others. I love people but also like my private time. I have served in the Church with many young people through Scouting and the Young Women programs. I have served in capacities that hve enabled me to see people overcome challenges in their lives and place their burdens on the Lord. I have had many opportunities to teach and learn more about Jesus Christ and try to follow His example.
