Hi I'm Mandi

I am a wife, a mother, a singer, a country girl and a mormon.

About Me

I am a young mother of four beautiful children. We live in Rural Nebraska ranching and raising our family. I love music, photography, riding horses, being a mom, wife and good friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I have spent some time learning the teachings of other religions and have yet to find any other that teaches truths that I know in my heart are right. The mormon church teaches the principles that make sense to me and that give me comfort. Many of the churches simply taught "feel good" doctrine. They didn't touch on the deeper doctrine that is what truly makes the difference.

How I live my faith

The church is true no matter where you are in the world. In our little spot on the globe, the church is very small. We live in a branch that has less then 50 people that consistently attend our meetings. The surrounding community is very skeptical about the gospel and those that live it. I live my faith by trying to be a good example of a person that loves and lives the teachings of Christ.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Mandi
The Bible is regarded as holy scripture to Mormons. Some don't put as much importance in reading the bible, but that is not what we are taught. Many prophets have spoken on the importance of studying and reading the bible. Studying the Bible increases one's knowledge of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Although we know that many evil men have tried and in some instances have succeeded in altering the Bible, the Bible is still a book that contains God's teachings and laws. Show more Show less
