Hi I'm Paula

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom of 4 amazing children. My wonderful husband and I have been married over 10 years and love each other more with each passing day. I home school my children and enjoy taking them out in nature. I love this earth and we try to care for it. I enjoy good books and learning. I like to learn all that I can about whatever interests me, whether it be medicine, nutrition, exercise, science, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I never had a one moment, life-changing experience. Instead my testimony of the gospel came from daily living of the principles I was taught. Daily prayer helped my know that my Heavenly Father not only heard my words but also knew my thoughts. I learned that he answered all my prayers. I learned that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for me from reading the scriptures. The more I learned of His sacrifice, the more I believed and loved Him and felt His love for me. The more I listened to the prophets, the more I realized that the Lord still communicates with His servants on the earth and that we need that guidance today as ever before. The more I read the Book of Mormon the more it helped me understand the words of the Bible and strengthened my faith in the words of the ancient prophets. My testimony has taken a lifetime to grow and it is my most dear and precious possession. Through it I know I am a daughter of God and that He loves me and wants me to be happy and return to him.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel! I live my faith everyday. I try to read my scriptures daily. I pay as often as I can. I love serving the people around me. I learned ASL (sign language) to help the deaf in my ward and it is my honor to sign for them each week. I love teaching my children about the gospel and the elder brother, Jesus Christ.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Paula
A testimony is the knowledge of the things of God. It is a strong belief that grows from experience. Just like you know the sun will rise in the morning you can know that God lives and Jesus Christ is His Son. All people can gain such knowledge through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
