Hi I'm Ron

I'm a 6th Generation Mormon.

About Me

I live in Lehi, Utah. I am married and have four children. I am an Airline Pilot based in Salt Lake City. I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time with my family in the mountains, parks, rivers, and lakes here in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a deep conviction of the reality of the Book Of Mormon. It has helped me to know that God loves his children and wants us to know his truths. It testifies of Jesus Christ and the Bible. The Book Of Mormon contains records of Ancient Prophets who saw and spoke with God. Through reading the Book Of Mormon, I am able to learn from the words of these great men who were chosen by our Heavenly Father to proclaim his truths to us. I feel the most joy and happiness in my life when I am consistently reading and living by the principles taught in this book.

How I live my faith

I try to live in a way that my Savior would approve of. At home I have the joy and privilage of teaching my children the gospel of Jesus Christ through the example of service in the home and scripture study. I also look for ways to help my neighbors that live around me. At work I am exposed to many different people and places that may not share my beliefs and way of living, but I am able to share my faith by just living and acting the way that I know I should.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Jesus Christ taught that the waters of baptism is the way to enter in at the "gate" of the "strait and narrow path" wich leads to Eternal Life. To show the importance of this he himself fulfilled all rigteousness by being baptized by John The Baptist, one who had the proper Priesthood Authority to perform this important and sacred ordinance. New members are invited to follow the Savior's example and be baptized by one who holds the proper Priesthood Authority, even that same Priesthood Authority that John The Baptist held.
