Hi I'm Marylin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of 3! I love Photography, writing, hiking, sewing, interior design, traveling and being with family and friends!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I gained my testimony on my own. I know that the teachings of the gospel help bring joy and peace into my life. There have been countless times that having a relationship with my Heavenly Father has helped me through trials and difficulties, without Him I wouldn't make it through. I am grateful for the community in which the gospel provides, no matter where I live I have others around me with the same principals and beliefs. Being a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormon is something I am humbled by and proud of and I take the responsibility of being so seriously. I know that others will watch me for the choices I make everyday and I work hard to be the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

I have a wonderful ward that I am in and have had the opportunity to serve with the Young Women, Primary Girls (ages 10-11), and I am currently serving as the Ward Photography Specialist. I take pictures at Ward activities and I am working on a Ward picture directory so that people can get to know faces with names. Serving in the church allows me to forget about my self and give to those around me using my talents and strengths, as well as learning so many new things in every calling I am given!

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

First I have to say that I am so grateful for the tithing program. The Church takes the moneys from tithing to help build new church buildings (Sunday Meeting houses), Temples. It also goes to pay for paper supplies like, printing the Book of Mormon, learning materials Hymnals, and other supplies used in our buildings. Show more Show less
