Hi I'm Tim

I'm a husband, father of three college students and a runner who loves to ski. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member of the church all my life. I grew up on the west coast and have been living in the east and midwest areas of the U.S. for the past 15 years. I love the peace and understanding that come to my family as we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the joy and happiness that comes to my life as a result of following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Knowing the Plan of Happiness helps me when the going gets tough. To know I lived with my Father in Heaven before I came to this earth, and that I will have the opportunity to live with him again when I leave this earth life, is very comforting. I find it easier to make it through all obstacles this life has to throw at me as long as I know there is a reason and a purpose.

How I live my faith

I assist with the overall leadership of our congregation. My favorite activities at church include the opportunity to work with the children and youth. They are so vibrant, energetic and full of life that it's always a positive experience to be in their presence. I also assist with the organization of our weekly Sacrament Meetings and ask different members of our congregation to share their ideas and thoughts with other members of the congregation. My full-time job is in banking. I work for an international bank with an emphasis in the risk management area of the organization.

Are Mormons Christians?

I often times hear people question if Mormons are really Christians. If being Christian requires a belief and understanding of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, which I believe it does, then we are certainly Christians. As Mormons, we strive daily to live and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus Christ that we are able to once again return and live with our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
