Hi I'm Faatuatua :o

I'm Happy, I'm Excited, and I'm Loved, because I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I call Australia my home, I was born in New Zealand and I am Samoan. But for the moment, I am currently on one of the greatest journeys of my life in the United States of America. One of my favourite things to do is to be with my family. It doesn't matter what we're doing, if we're together, that's all it counts - even when they drive me crazy. I love to laugh at the most random and weirdest things and these random and weirdest things always happen when I'm with my friends. I love to eat but I'm a really picky eater which doesn't really help sometimes. I love my family and friends everywhere, I love my Heavenly Father and I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I say that I am on one of the greatest journeys because I am sharing with others one of the most important things of my life - the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, my family will be together forever after this life. I am a Mormon because I choose to be. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have played important roles in my life and it is because of them I know how to be happy and how to live my life. I know that through prayer, I can always talk to my Heavenly Father and know that He will ALWAYS hear and answer me. He is aware of all of us individually - His children.

How I live my faith

I have worked with Primary Children (ages 3-11), the Youth (ages 12-17) and the Young Single Adults (ages 18-30) of the church in helping them realize their importance to Heavenly Father and their true potential in life. Right now, I am a missionary representing Jesus Christ in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and there is no other place that I would rather be than here. I will continue to live my faith by being an example to others.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Faatuatua :o
A testimony is a firm belief or a witness of or in something or someone. To me personally, a testimony is what you testify of and is what you totally believe in with all of your heart. My testimony is something that I constantly work on to build every day. It is by living the gospel standards and reading from the scriptures that I gain the knowledge that I need to build my testimony. A testimony is something special to me and I do have a testimony of my Saviour, Jesus Christ and a testimony of His gospel. This is a simple testimony of mine...that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do indeed live and that They love us so much. Jesus Christ is our Saviour and He did die for us all so that our sins can be forgiven. I testify that Joseph Smith was the prophet that restored Christ's true church upon the Earth again and that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. That the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price are true and are Heavenly Father's heavenly messages to His children. President Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet, seer and revelator and he is chosen of God. I know with all of my heart and soul that these things are true because I have asked Heavenly Father and I have received answers to my questions through the power of the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father wants His children to know the truth of all things and He will never lead you astray.  Show more Show less

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Faatuatua :o
Our living modern-day prophet is President Thomas Spencer Monson and he is a man that has been called of God to represent Him here on the Earth. He receives revelation from Heavenly Father for us all. He leads and guides us through the inspiration he receives through the Holy Spirit. Show more Show less
