Hi I'm Cielo

I'm from the Philippines. I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Registered Nurse by profession but preferred to be a stay-at-home mom. I have a loving husband and an adorable daughter. I love serving my family and taking good care of them. I love being with my family and doing fun stuffs together. I love playing the piano and teaching the youth.

Why I am a Mormon

My grand parents became a member of the church way back in 1970s. They were faithful and they love the church. My parents were married at the Manila Philippines Temple and started our family through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through their teachings and example, I was able to have my own testimony of the gospel and the church. And until now, I love to live being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love playing the piano at church especially for the youth choir. I am also a teacher during Sunday to the youth. I love being with the young people as they uplift my spirit with their smile and laughter. They have wonderful countenances and I like to influence them for good. I love being a friend with them and teach them how to live the gospel and be prepared to be valiant missionaries someday.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon means you are happy and contented with your life. It means you are embracing the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon means being together with your family sharing love and strengthening each other. Being a Mormon means standing up on what you believe in even if you are the only one standing up for what is right. The life of a Mormon is full of love and service to family, friends and fellowmen. What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

The husband and wife play an important role in having a successful home and family. Neither the husband nor the wife is more powerful. Both have equal responsibilities in upbringing children to be God-loving and obedient sons and daughters. Both have the same role in building a happy and peaceful home. Though husbands and wives have different skills and characteristics, each of them contributes to the success of a happy home. Both provide an environment that is conducive to learning, living, and loving. Focusing ourselves to God, to each other and to the children makes our family live physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually abundant. Show more Show less
