Hi I'm Leilani

I am am artist, a student, a wife, I love the Lord, and am glad to be known as a "Mormon".

About Me

I love that which enlightens and inspires the mind, body and spirit. I love learning new things, and setting high goals for myself and my future. I am currently majoring in Art and Business, and minoring in Hospitality/tourism and Theater. I work at the TV studios of the BYU-Hawaii Media Production Center. I love yoga, capoeira, and tahitian dance. I love to travel and adore Disney animated films. I would love to work for Disney again, or for the church and would like to create a center for the arts that promotes the good wholesome values we posses and share this through the arts, music and film through the use of the wonderful technology we are blessed with at this time, that promotes good wholesome family togetherness, love and inspirational messages.

Why I am a Mormon

Because nothing brings more joy to my life than living the gospel. I find peace and happiness in knowing that I am a beloved spirit daughter of my Father in Heaven. My life is filled with meaning and purpose and I strive to fulfill my potential everyday. I am striving to be the very best I can and to make this world a better place for having been a part of it.

How I live my faith

I help out where I can in organizing wholesome activities that will help spread good values and create a spirit of love and friendship. I enjoy getting together to share a good meal with my neighbors, and help at the Laie, Hawaii Temple.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

There is a greater feeling of peace and happiness as we live the teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. No other feeling can come close to the joy you feel in living life with the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. I go to school, and have the many of the same challenges that others around the world have to deal with, but it's just nice to have someone always there for you to help you get through it. What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

We believe in Christ as our personal Savior. We believe that he suffered for all men and that as we repent, come unto him and exercise faith in him and good works that he has the power to save us. We believe that families can be together forever as they make righteous choices and help each other as equal partners in love, respect and kindness. We believe in modern day prophets and a living prophet today. We believe in the bible and The Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
