Hi I'm Carole Johnson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a social worker by profession. In my job I have the opportunity to daily share the love that our Savior has for each of his children as I encourage my clients to change their lives for the better. In my free time, I love to garden and grow flowers to share with my friends, family and coworkers. I also volunteer for a local rescue group by fostering dogs and cats on the euthanasia list at a local animal shelter. I have 6 children wonderful children and three fantastic grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of this church because it teaches the gospel as taught by our Savior Jesus Christ. I was first interested because of the strong family orientation and then as I learned more and felt the spirit I knew that this was his true church. I have now been a member for over 30 years and have never felt a desire to leave.

How I live my faith

I love attending church and church activities. During the years that I have been a member of this church, I have served as a teacher of the children, a teacher of the women and a cub scout leader. I am always willing to do what the Lord requires of me, even if it is difficult. I try to always be a good example to those around me and to have a Christlike attitude. I look for opportunities to serve others both in my job and in my community.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Carole Johnson
Pray, that is the only way to know the truth of any religion. Reading the Bible and Book of Mormon will also help you as when you are reading the scriptures you are more in tune to the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Carole Johnson
The church teaches that there is only one baptism and that is baptism by immersion. The Savior set the example when he went to John the Baptist and was baptized in the Jordan River. The Bible says that Jesus was baptized by immersion and we believe that we must also be baptized in this way. Show more Show less
