Hi I'm Jordan Snyder

"I, like Nephi, glory in my Jesus. I love sports and seeing the hand of the Lord in my life. and of course I'm a Mormon!"

About Me

I have just recently returned home after serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission. I have been able to learn so much as I've been on the Lord's Errand these past 2 years and I couldn't be more grateful and blessed for the experiences in which i've been allowed to have part in while others are taking their steps in coming closer to their Savior. I also am a pretty avid sports fan and I love getting out and being active in anything that I can.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I am a mormon is because I feel it is the only way. I did have the opportunity to grow up as a part of this great church and through many different experiences I know this to be our Savior's Church put back on this earth for all of God's children to be able to help us come unto Christ and be perfected in him. I guess you can say it has been revealed to me line upon line and precept upon precept and it has gotten to the point where I can say with all the assuredy of my heart that I KNOW this is the church of Jesus Christ and that throughout I can find current as well as eternal happiness for me and my loved ones

How I live my faith

The biggest way I have been able to live my faith was by making the decision to leave my family, friends, school and all the comforts of home and serve my savior faithfully for 2 years. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the changes and the joy that the gospel can bring into someones life. This gospel is the ultimate thirst quencher so that all of God's children will never go without again. I also am preparing myself now to find an eternal companion and marry her forever in one of God's holy temples as well as being able to provide any act of service I can to help out those who are in need.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Jordan Snyder
Mormons don't just believe but we know that through our loving Heavenly Father's plan we all have the opportunity of being with our families, not just in this life, but throughout eternity as well. And for me personally the very knowledge and thought of being with my family forever is something I am and will always be grateful for because the times when I am happiest is when I'm with my family.
