Hi I'm Don

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to write, to listen to, write, and perform music, to read good books, photography, and gospel discussions. I enjoy genealogy. I have a sweet wife and we have wonderful children and grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

Although raised in the LDS faith, I had to gain a personal testimony. This was both intellectual and born of the Spirit. It is the result of living the gospel, of pondering deeply, evaluating spiritual evidences, and listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I've found a testimony to require regular nourishing. It can grow. Once received, it can grow dim with neglect. It can be totally lost. It is precious and a sure guide through life.

How I live my faith

I participate in community outreach activities unassociated with the LDS Church and have found extremely good people of all faiths. Within the LDS church I've had many different responsibilities. These change from time to time as leaders are inspired make changes. Currently I serve by visiting members monthly, playing the organ, and teaching others how to do family history work.
