Hi I'm Bobby Moon

I have been a Mormon since my family joined in Florida. Now we live in the great state of Utah!

About Me

I love being a Dad! I have four beatiful children from a year old to fifteen and they are my absolute favorite things in life. I enjoy taking them out to dinner, movies, for drives in the moutains and spending time with them. I continue to further my career as a civil servant by attending training for Chief Information Officers. I have worked in the Information Technology field for 18 years and feel that it has provided a wonderful life for me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I had a brave Mother who recognized the truth that the gospel shared and was not afraid to leave all that she had been raised around to make sure that her family was part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have loved being Mormon and sharing the gospel with people around me that recognize that there is something different about those who are striving to live the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been a scout leader for almost as long as I have been married. I have been a Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Venture leader, Explorer leader, Charter Representative, Committee member and a Basic Training staff member. I love the experiences that participating in scouting brings to boys! The opportunities to be in the outdoors and to see the wonders of nature are fantastic experiences to observe young men participating in. To marvel at the Lord's creations and to recognize that He built all of this for us is a humbling experience.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Bobby Moon
Family is important to people of all faiths, cultures, races and backgrounds. Mormons simply profess that the family is an institution that is blessed by our Father in Heaven and can continue beyond this mortal realm. The knowledge that the thing I most value in this life, being a husband and father, can continue beyond the grave brings me joy, happiness and peace concerning my relationship with my family here on Earth.
