Hi I'm Ben

I am a missionary in Tuxtla Gutierrez Chapas, I am way to tall to live in Mexico, and I am a mormon.

About Me

Well about me, I'm 6 feet 2 inches (which for my family is small) I grew up the youngest in a loud and crazy home of seven children. I wish I had been a farm boy growin up (yeah weird I know right?). I love small towns, if a high school is 2A or 3A that's where I wanna live. Nothing is better than friday night lights at the local high school with your family and friends. I say y'all way too much. I love sports, Volleyball, Soccer, Rugby and Football. I hope to play rugby after my mission to Tuxtla Gutierrez Mexico at the University I am attending. I love science, I'm currently a physics major, hoping to become a doctor in the military. And yeah, i'm a Mormon, and nothing has changed my life more for the better than my membership in this church.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, my parents are Mormon. But that is not why I am a mormon. I remember one night laying in bed, the weight of life pressing down from all around, I didn't know where to go. I had no idea where to turn. So I turned to God. I prayed, as hard as I possibly could. And I recieved an answer. I came to know that this was the Living church of God today on the Earth, I came to know that whoever may be called as the Prophet of this Church is the literal prophet of God, at this time it is Thomas S. Monson, who recieves revelation for the whole world. I came to know Joy and happiness for the first time in my life. Literally the first time. So why am I a Mormon? Because I haven't stopped smiling since I was fifteen years old. And that is because of my testimony and the answers I recieved that night, laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, cryin my eyes out, from God. God loves me, personally and perfectly. And that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and everyday. I am a missionary. Twenty-four seven I live my faith. For twenty four months I spend every possible minute I can living my faith in the southern tip of Mexico (Chiapas for all y'all who know it). Teaching the gospel, Preaching the gospel, Serving everyone I see in anyway I can, Loving all around no matter how they treat me, and trying my hardest to act like Christ would, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. And boy what a life. I couldn't be happier.
