Hi I'm Ben

Grew up in Ohio, England, and Utah. Live for the outdoors. Love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior at BYU in Provo, Utah studying business strategy. I am the third out of four boys in my family and always played a lot of sports growing up--soccer, football, hockey, track, etc. I served a mission in Paris, France.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church so I never had thought too much about it, but there came a time when I had to find for myself that it was true and that it was what I wanted for my life. I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed, I went to church. I realized that all the times I have been the absolute happiest, are directly related to the times I've been the most involved in church--the times when I've been striving to serve others and striving to follow the example of Christ. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. There is no other way to find true, eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live by love. I try to let my actions be motivated by a love for others, and especially a love for Jesus Christ. I served a mission in France because I know that our Heavenly Father loves all his children and wants everyone to feel his infinite love. I loved inviting people to feel that. The love that I have felt in my life is too great to not share with others.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Of course not! I try to serve anyone I see who needs it. I can't even remember how many service projects we did as youth to help good people who weren't Mormons. Everyone is a child of God, and everyone needs help at some point. Show more Show less
