Hi I'm Michael Bishop

I grew up in the beautiful state of Idaho. I'm currently attending BYU. I love my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading and listening to music, and I'm a big BYU football and basketball fan. I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church) in Paris, France. I'm currently a junior at BYU, majoring in Neuroscience, and I hope to go to medical school after I graduate from BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. I love everything about it. It is a Gospel of love, hope, and faith. Our Father in Heaven has blessed us so much by giving us this earth and everything on it. He also has given us a way to return to live with Him forever, with our families. I can think of no better blessing from God than that - eternal life with the people we love the most. I'm a Mormon because I know that God lives and loves us. I know that Jesus Christ restored His true Church to the Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. Through the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ, we can truly be exalted and live forever with our families. I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm this to me through a simple, small, peaceful feeling. I know, without any doubt, that this is the path that our loving Heavenly Father wants for all of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through many ways, but they all connect back to the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. While I am nowhere near His perfection, I still try to use His example of love, service, sacrifice, and hard work to guide my own life. It's simple to say, but I think the best way I live my faith is through following the path that Jesus Christ laid out for me.
