Hi I'm Evan Waechtler

I'm a latter day saint. I enjoy life, that's all there is to it. Trials come, life is hard. Live. don't give up.

About Me

I have lived in Magna for about 14 yrs now and I wouldn't trade this little town for anything! I am 19 and currently at home from my mission on a medical release. Life is always worth living is my outlook. Sure I have my hard times but who doesn't. Depression comes, that's just the way of the world. I have been struggling to over come those feelings but I know in Christ there is happiness. I love reading, watching movies, filming, and a whole bunch of other things. Life is worth living, start living it like you should.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, I have had to make my own choices to stay a member though. I remember times in my life when I wondered what I was doing in this church. Why am I even here I would say. I learned for myself that this church is true and no man can take that from me. I will always stand by my God. I know this church is the only true church on the earth, I have felt God's presence in my life through living the gospel principals set before me.

How I live my faith

I serve, simple, sweet, to the point. I do whatever I can whenever the opportunities arise. I am one of the assistant scout masters in my ward and I just love working with the young men. Though I am a young man myself I truly hope to inspire these young people to develop faith and hope in Christ.

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

Evan Waechtler
Attending church is different than attending the temple in many aspects. Attending church, we learn the principals of the gospel. We study doctrine and share our opinions with others in a loving atmosphere. We teach each other. We meet new people and socialize. In the temple we also learn but on a more personal level. We go to the temple to do service in a place closer to God and away from the world. The temple is a sacred place. We also attend to make sacred covenants with God. Show more Show less
