Hi I'm Johnathan

I'm Chinese. I'm American. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student in Utah, studying and preparing for medical school. I hail from Texas. I love to play video games, piano, and guitar. I love to read, write, draw, create. I hope to be an author someday.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time in my life when things were really hard. I was living a normal life, hanging with friends, going to school, being with my family, but things just felt empty and I felt alone. I took an inventory of my life, and understood that I needed to change certain things. The first thing I did was to start praying sincerely: I began truly conversing with God. He answered. I began reading His word in the scriptures. I began listening to the principles and doctrines at church that I thought I'd already mastered and finding hidden layers, new depths, truths to uncover that fed my hungering soul. And I continue to find and uncover. I'm a Mormon because God loves all of His children, and more personally, He loves me. He loves me enough to be a constant, unchanging force for good in my life, and He loves me enough to give me the opportunity to share that with everyone around me, and to make me a part of that. I'm a Mormon because God loves me enough to answer my prayers, to comfort me in times of doubt, to reach out to me and everyone on the earth, personally, individually, and also on a worldwide level through His prophets. He has not changed. He has not abandoned us. He continues to lead and guide us. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I share my beliefs. I help index names for geneological work. I've served as a leader among the youth, organizing productive, faith-promoting activities. I help those in need. I develop my talents. I make people smile.
