Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in beautiful Upstate New York. I am a Web Developer, Gamer, Husband, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to spend time outside with my wife and puppy. I have an interest in history and love learning about church history. I am a web developer, and enjoy making cool websites. Some of my hobbies include gaming, hiking, biking, and yard work.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person. I know that God loves us, and wants us to return to live with Him. We are all His choice sons and daughters. He shows His love for us by calling a Prophet to lead His church today. Because I grew up in Upstate New York, I have been to the Sacred Grove countless times. There is always a special feeling there. I know for myself, that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet of God, that he had a vision in which the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored for our benefit and blessing. I know the Book of Mormon is true and was written for our day because I have read it many times. God is the same yesterday, today and forever He has always spoken to and instructed his people by way of prophets. How blessed I am to know that we have a living prophet who leads Christ's church here on earth for us in our day. I know this true. I know a person can get closer to God by learning, accepting and living the gospel of Jesus Christ , our Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with others. I feel blessed to have a testimony of the gospel, and want to share it with others so they can be happy, and enjoy the blessings I enjoy.

Are Mormons Christians?

Nathan
Yes, Mormons are Christians. Our Church is called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". We believe Christ's church was restored and Jesus Christ to be the head and cornerstone of our religion. We believe the Book of Mormon was written for our day. In 2Nephi 25:23-26 it states: 23 For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do. 24 And, notwithstanding we believe in Christ, we keep the law of Moses, and look forward with steadfastness unto Christ, until the law shall be fulfilled. 25 For, for this end was the law given wherefore the law hath become dead unto us, and we are made alive in Christ because of our faith yet we keep the law because of the commandments. 26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. Jesus Christ is our Redeemer, our Savior he took the sins of the world upon him as he knelt in Gethsamane. He was crucified and thus gave his life for us because to him, we were worth it. He was resurrected on the third day. He has descended below all things that he might comfort his people. Show more Show less
