Hi I'm Ethan

I am a current university student, love traveling the world, all things public relations, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently at BYU studying Communications with an emphasis in public relations. Two years ago, I got back from serving a mission for the Church in Barcelona, Spain. I love Spain and would definitely move there in a heartbeat. What do I like to do? I love to travel. I have been to several countries in Europe and would love to see more of the world! I also have recently got into photography. I would like to start my own photography business on the side some day. What else??? I love being with my friends, my family and just enjoying life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon? I couldn't picture my life any other way. Without this gospel, I am literally nothing. I am a Mormon, not beecuase my parents are and that was how I was raised, but rather because I have my own testimony of the the truthfulness of this gospel. There comes a point in everyone's life where they need to learn for themselves. I asked my Heavenly Father in humble prayer if this Church was true, I know it is. There are many things in this world that can make us happy. We can buy nice cars, nice homes etc...but this only brings us temporal happiness. What brings us long lasting happiness? The Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what I have learned.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith the best I can everyday. I recently have returned from serving a mission in Barcelona, Spain. I left behind my studies, my friends, my family, everything to go share this glorious message with the people there. Now that I have returned, I must continue living my faith. I attend my meetings every Sunday, always looking for opportunitiesto serve others, read my scriptures daily and try to be the kind of person that my Heavenly Father expects of me. There is a difference between passive and being active. I could know all the doctrine of the gospel, routinely go sit through my church meetings and be a member of this church. I am not content with just being a passive memeber. I try to apply what I learn to my own life. I try to act on what I am taught and not just merely sit around. I want to be an example to others of the light and hope that God offers us. I try to act in such away, that if my Savior was standing next to me, he would be proud.
