Hi I'm Samuel.

I'm studying to be a choir teacher. I like cookie dough. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born 19 years ago in Montana, a land of mountains, rivers, and pines. I graduated from Fremont high school in Utah and am attending BYU to become a choral instructor. I like to spend time with friends (especially when that means Star Wars marathons), I ran my first 5k a little bit ago ago, I did taxes for my last job, and I love math. One of my biggest aspirations is to write a book or movie someday, I love to bowl, and I rebuild my computer too often. The perfect house would have a music room, a library, a study, a kitchen. We'd sleep outside on the trampoline, of course.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this doctrine is the Doctrine of Christ, that He has established His church on the earth again. This knowledge comes through the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of the Father that Christ promised His apostles in Jerusalem. When I read the Book of Mormon, I feel an immense sense of joy and peace-- quiet assurance that it is truly the word of God to prophets in the early Americas. That same Spirit has testified to me again and again, both quiet and strong, that This is the true doctrine of Christ: to have Faith in Him, to Repent of the sins we have done, and to be Baptised by the proper authority. When we do those things, we receive the Holy Ghost to be with us always, and we have only to endure to the end of our lives.

How I live my faith

For the last two years, I've been living my faith by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Mexico. I live my faith by studying the scriptures, praying, and teaching.
