Hi I'm Carol, and I am a Mormon!

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy gardening, hiking, reading and traveling with my family.

About Me

My greatest joy in life come from my family relationships. My husband and I have five sons, four daughter-in-laws and eight beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time out doors hiking, gardening or anything that allows me to enjoy God's creations. Enjoying God's beautiful creations reminds me of his love for me and my family. My husband and I look forward to serving as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. We look forward to helping others come unto Christ. Sharing with others the message of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth and the plan God has provided to help his children return to him will bring us great joy.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church gives me opportunities to grow in my knowledge of the Savior and his plan for his children. I know that by following his example I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I know that I am a Child of God and he has given me an opportunity to come to earth, to be tested and tried. By coming to earth I am also able to be a part of an eternal family. If I keep his commandments and endure to the end I can be with my family forever. That knowledge is very comforting to me.

How I live my faith

My greatest joy has come from being a wife and mother. My husband and I have raised five sons. I have enjoyed watching them grow in their knowledge of the Savior, and their determination to serve him by serving others and following his commandments. They are now grown raising families of their own, teaching their children to be faithful, contributing members of society. In addition to raising our sons, I have been involved with our Church's early morning Seminary program. I taught early morning seminary for 6 years to youth 14-16 years of age.I have also served in my Church's organization for women (Relief Society) Presidency. Through the Relief Society I am able to serve women of my faith. Through Relief Society I also have opportunities to participate in humanitarian efforts to help people in other countries as well as women in our community. Currently my husband and I have been called to serve as full-time missionaries serving in the Seminaries and Institutes Program. We aren't sure what that entails but we are excited to learn and serve in whatever capacity we are asked.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Carol, and I am a Mormon!
We believe that all of God's children should have the opportunity to return to live with him again. That includes those individuals who lived on the earth when God's Church was not upon the earth. By performing baptisms for them we allow them the opportunity to become members of His Church. Show more Show less
