Hi I'm Rob Gorman

I'm a retired Submarine Officer, current production manager, engineer, cyclist, and a disciple of Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the Gospel who learned about this faith when I was twenty. I've had questions and found answers and continue to grow closer to the Savior. I am a father of four and a grandfather. I grew up in in the Air Force, served a career in the Navy in submarines and have lived all over the United States and many parts of the world. My hobbies include bicycling, geocaching, and racquetball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with a knowledge of the Savior and as I grew into adulthood I began to want more. It didn't make sense to me that some of Heavenly Father's children would be condemned just because they had never heard of Jesus. I didn't understand why a married couple and their children would not continue as a family after their time on Earth was complete. These questions among others were answered for me in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this gospel I have found truth that has solidified my marriage beyond what I thought possible. The gospel has also provided a foundation that my wife and I have used to raise our family within a home focused on the Savior. My family and I have found true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example of those who follow the principles that Christ taught and lived. When I fall short, I seek the forgiveness Christ's atonement provides and try to do better each day. I know that I am not perfect and that that's ok.
