Hi I'm Caroline

Im a flight attendant, and I'm Mormon

About Me

I am a flight attendant...I obviously love to fly and travel the world. My goal is to someday travel the whole world but for now I am slowly crossing off cities in the United States. In the summer time, I love being outdoors. I enjoy outdoor concerts, picnics, swimming and riding bikes. In the winter, I try to snowboard as much as I can. I would like to try skydiving and scuba diving one day. I am fascinated by languages. I speak Tagalog and I can understand some Spanish. One thing that is unique about me and I think is pretty cool is I am the only member in my family, not only my immediate family but as far as my family tree goes, I am the only Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Basically, I'm Mormon because I have gained a strong testimony that it is true. I know it is different for everyone. I am a convert, so I guess the only way to let you know why I'm Mormon is to share the story of how I gained my testimony. As with any story by a girl, it starts of by, I met a guy. He shared his testimony with me. I was a devout Catholic. I always believed that Jesus is our Savior, but there was always something missing in my Catholic faith. Through months and months of praying, reading the Book of Mormon and questioning it every step of the way. I decided being Mormon was for me because of a feeling. It is that simple. The feeling did not last very long, but it was strong enough, peaceful enough, and comforting enough for me to know that the Book of Mormon is true. After 8 months of trying to find out if this was the true church of Jesus Christ, I prayed one last time knowing I would give up my investigation, I was sitting in the back of the plane with the Book of Mormon one last time. I noticed that one of the passengers across from me was in a panic and wanted to sit next to me. I put the book down and to my surprise, there was chaos in the cabin. Passengers were frightened because the plane was going through some violent turbulence. As the plane shook and I could see the worried look on peoples faces, I felt a sudden rush of comfort. I felt peace. I felt safe. As the plane started to smooth out, I knew that in that short moment of fear that everyone had, I had none. I knew that my prayer was answered by that feeling. It was the confirmation that I needed to know that this was all true. I cant thank that guy enough for sharing his faith with me and for any girl story with a happy ending, Ive been dating him for 2 years now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. The best way to let everyone know of my faith is by inviting them to social events. I participate in Mormon Helping Hands and other community services. I love serving others. I love seeing the joy in someone's face when I have helped them in any way. My calling in the church is officially called " Relief Society Secretary", which basically means I help the other beautiful single ladies in my ward live our faith. I share the beautiful Gospel of our Lord to anyone who wishes to hear it. I live by Christ' example. Although I am imperfect, I strive to live everyday the way my Saviour would be proud of. I wish for everyone to live our Lord's Plan of Happiness to it's fullest and invite everyone to share in the teachings, the love, and the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ. I simply love his Plan of Happiness and wish to live my life through His commandments to receive eternal life and eternal blessings.
