Hi I'm Steve

Living in the Arizona desert southwest, I love Gold prospecting and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad, a brother and a son. I live in the warm desert and love the outdoors, from Colorado to California and from Alaska to Arizona. I am a high tech kind of guy during the day working in the field of large scale semiconductor manufacturing. After work I help out a lot at church and my community and in the little spare time available, I love to go looking for Gold (I find a little, but it is the process of finding that is the good part).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon to be true. I also have a personal testimony that the Mormon church is inspired of God and the most wonderful way to learn and grow spiritually in this life. Being a member of our church is the perfect way for me to learn to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ and raise my children to understand the good principles of love and charity and selfless service to others that He gave to us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through an attempt to practice obedience to God's commandments...I serve my church brothers and sisters by accepting whatever volunteer position I am asked to serve in. I try to do it with a good attitude and enthusiasm! I have a lot of fun and meet lots of good people. Currently I am serving as an Young Mens President, a very busy position that helps kids learn and grow and become good people. I also periodically check on four families in my neighborhood, sharing a spiritual message with them on occasion and just making sure they are doing well. They are my friends and I am always available to help them in any way. ...it is great to help people, especially young people, progress in life and become good citizens. I receive tons of blessings and I have a lot to be thankful for.
