Hi I'm Zack

I'm a full time student and have a full time job. I'm also a full time Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a graduate student at my local university and aspire to be a CPA in the near future. So a professional career in the accounting or business field is what I seek. When I have free time from studying I enjoy swimming, hiking, and reading a good book (textbooks not included). I volunteer at a children's hospital nearby and love visiting patients with their families. Bringing a smile to their face during hard times is often the highlight of my day.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been LDS (Mormon), but we all come to a crossroads where one has to make their own choices and find their own answers to life's burning questions. I feel that the LDS Church provides the answers to these questions and I have found that they are true through fervent scripture study, prayer, and meditation. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me so much in my life. It has brought me happiness that I know exists not only now, but also later. I take pride in the fact that I will be able to look back on the life that I have lived now and not have any regrets. It has helped me to be a better brother, son, employee, and friend. By going to church every Sunday, I am able to increase my faith in Jesus Christ by listening to other's experiences. I also learn about what I can do to improve myself and truly find everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a better person everyday. I try to study the scriptures everyday or read the words of inspired men and women. I go about doing good and look for opportunities to serve my fellow men. One thing that I have focused on right now is sharing the message of the Restored Gospel to others. I especially try to focus on sharing this message with people that are young adults, like myself. Our 20's are known as the decades of decisions, I want to help people make righteous decisions that have positive consequences.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are most definitely Christians. I know that I strive to live by the principles which Jesus Christ taught in the Bible, such as loving your neighbor. I believe Jesus Christ is my personal Redeemer and that it is through his infinite Atonement and mercy that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father, after I have tried my best to live righteously during my life. Christ is the great example to whom I look. I know that if I need guidance that I can look to the scriptures that are written by people that have been inspired by Christ and his teachings. I know that I am a better person by living by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have been given by studying it out. I know that when we understand Christ's Gospel, that we can change for the better. Show more Show less
